Delete your ILoveTempMail account

You can delete your account and everything in it at any time: in the app, or right here on this page if you don't have the app.

  • App: Temp Mail: ILoveTempMail
  • Developer: Designify

Delete it in the app

The same on iPhone, iPad and Android.

  1. Open the ILoveTempMail app

    On iPhone, iPad or Android.

  2. Go to Settings → Account

Your recovery code is shown there too.

  3. Tap Delete account and confirm

The app then starts fresh with a new, empty account.

Have a Pro subscription?

Deleting your account doesn't cancel it. Cancel it in the store you bought it from, so you aren't charged again.

Delete it without the app

Enter your account's recovery code, then confirm.

The app shows it at Settings → Account.

You'll be asked to confirm. Deleting can't be undone.

No recovery code? If you're signed in on this website, open the account menu and choose Recovery code to make a new one. Otherwise, contact support and we'll help.

Your data

What's deleted and what's kept

Deletion happens as soon as you confirm, in the app or on this page, and it can't be undone.

Deleted right away

  • Your account

Its recovery code, settings and push notification token.

  • Mailboxes, emails and attachments

Every mailbox in the account and everything in it.

  • Forwarding rules and custom domains

Mail stops being forwarded and your domains are removed.

  • Sent mail

Emails you sent from your domains, with their delivery status.

  • MCP access keys

The keys you made for AI tools, and their usage.

  • Sign-ins ended

Every phone, browser and extension is signed out.

What we keep

  • A permanent record of each address

The address, when and why it was released, and your old random account ID, so the address is never given to anyone else. It doesn't receive mail.

  • Sign-in records, for up to 180 days

Your old random account ID, the kind of device, its name, the app version, when it was last used and, for phones, a one-way hash of the device ID. They let the app on that device know the account is gone, even after a reinstall. Then they're deleted.

  • Purchase records

The purchase notices RevenueCat sends us, with your old random account ID, for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Apple or Google and RevenueCat keep their own records.

  • Crash reports, for up to 90 days

Firebase Crashlytics (Google) keeps app crash reports with your random account ID, then deletes them.

Guest mailboxes on the website aren't part of an account. You can delete each one from the inbox, and they expire on their own after 5 days. Free accounts that aren't used for 30 days are deleted automatically. More in our privacy policy.
